BRYAN ADAMS + DANIELE GROFF TONIGHT AT MAZDAPALACE IN MILAN

One of the busiest artists on the international rock scene, Bryan Adams comes to Italy for a single concert, so eagerly awaited that it had to be moved from the Palalido (the space in which it was originally planned) to the more spacious MAZDAPALACE.
Without a new record to promote (in fact, it is rumoured that the new album will not be released until August), without having yet renewed a contract with a major record label, Bryan Adams is proof that success is built by playing - and a lot - on stage.

Bryan Adams is coming off the incredible success of his American tour and a series of packed European dates like he hasn't had since the early 1990s. The Milan concert will be an opportunity to listen again to many of his hits, the ones that made him enter the Olympus of the great authors and interpreters of melodic rock. Starting from RUN TO YOU to SOMEBODY via IT'S ONLY LOVE (brought to success in a duet with Tina Turner), PLEASE FORGIVE ME, SUMMER OF 69, 18 TILL I DIE, EVERYTHING I DO (I do it for you), CAN'T STOP THIS THING WE STARTED, CUTS LIKE A KNIFE and many other songs, will be two hours of guaranteed thrills, with the intensity that has characterised BRYAN's entire career.

Since his first major contract in 1979, the blond rocker has spent around 250 days a year on tour, hugging his inseparable guitar. His first international success came in 1983 with the album Cuts like a knife, with which he was nominated for a Grammy, thanks to some songs that are still fan favourites today, such as Heaven and Summer of '69. In 1987, Reckless was released, awarded as the best-selling album in the history of Canada.
With the single Everything I do (I do it for you) from the soundtrack of the film starring Kevin Costner Robin Hood, he topped the Hit Parade around the world: he entered the Guinness Book of World Records for his song's stay in the UK charts. It won a Grammy and an Oscar nomination. Soon afterwards he recorded Waking up the neighbours: he sold 10 million records. The success continued with the Three Musketeers soundtrack where she performed All for Love sung with Rod Steward and Sting. The next compilation, So Far So Good sold 13 million copies, with the hit Please Forgive Me. In 1994, Bryan Adams performed in Vietnam: he was the first Western artist to do so since the end of the war. In 1995, with the sales of the single Have you really loved a woman?, taken from the soundtrack of the film starring Marlon Brando Don Juan De Marco Maestro D'amore, he broke through the ceiling of 45 million records sold in his career. In 1997, he took his band to Europe for yet another successful tour, with the album 18 til I die. In 1998 the album entitled On a day like today was released, in 1999 it was the turn of The best of me and in 2000 he recorded Io vivo in te, with lyrics written by Zucchero.

So a full house is expected for a show that a few days ago was enriched by a guest that BRYAN ADAMS' fans will certainly welcome: the Italian DANIELE GROFF who with his band will play on the Mazdapalace stage for his first live performance after Sanremo (where he sang SEI UN MIRACOLO) to present his new album, released on 5 March, entitled 'Mi Accordo'.

Daniele Groff will anticipate BRYAN ADAMS with his biggest hits from his first two albums and some excerpts from his latest record. These include Daisy, his famous debut hit, and Everyday, chosen by Pieraccioni as the leitmotif for the film Il pesce innamorato, taken from his debut album Variatio 22; If you don't like it and Lory (with lyrics by Lucio Dalla) from Bit and Sei Un miracolo, the rock ballad presented at the 2004 Sanremo Festival (13th most played track on Italian radios), By yourself, London's Calling and Pensa a Te (with lyrics and backing vocals by Renato Zero) from the latest Mi Accordo.
