On 5 September, two of the biggest bands on the world hard-rock scene, lll Nino and Soulflywere involved in a bitter fight, which later escalated into a brawl, during a date of the US tour the two bands are currently doing together.
The facts: Christian Machado(photo), the charismatic front-man of Ill Nino, starts insulting Max Cavalera's Soulfy from the stage, accusing them of useless rock star attitude. The performance ended, Marc Rizzo, guitarist of Soulfly and formerly of Ill Nino, attacked Christian in the backstage area as the band was boarding the tour bus.
For this reason, Ill Nino decided to cancel the remaining tour dates together with Soulfy.
Strange... and to think they were so good when they played together at the Flippaut Rock Festival this summer.
