Her name is Chiara Civello, 29 years old, Roman by birth but a US citizen for over ten years. "Last Quarter Moon', the singer, composer and pianist's recording debut, starts off with the best auspices: she is the first Italian to sign a contract with the Verveone of the major jazz record companies.
The collection of enchanting original tracks places her in the firmament of the new songwriters on the current scene. The album was produced by pop veteran Russ Titelman, known for his collaborations with Paul Simon, Rickie Lee Jones and James Taylor.
