FILM WRITING COURSES
Screenwriting course
Through lectures, discussions, weekly film viewings, reading assignments and written assignments, you will be introduced to this fascinating art form that has lived among us for more than a century.
Each week's lesson will begin with an explanation focusing on both the craft of screenwriting and the elements common to all scripts, regardless of genre. Different topics and techniques will be discussed each week.
During the course, various films will be shown that are necessary and indispensable for learning the notions covered on a weekly basis.
Students will also be required to submit weekly written assignments on specific elements of screenwriting discussed in class.
At the end of the course, therefore, it will be possible to develop an idea into a complete treatment/outline ready for a full-length film.
At the end of this course, you will be ready to dive into your first draft (or first draft) of the script.

Course duration: 10 lessons of one hour each, every Tuesday and Friday afternoon
