Messaggerie Musicali is celebrating 'Devils & Dust' (CD+DVD), Bruce Springsteen's new album to be released in Italy on 22 April 2005, with an extraordinary event. As of 10 p.m. today, Thursday 21 April, at Messaggerie Musicali (Milan C.so Vittorio Emanuele and Rome Via Del Corso) it will be possible to attend the exclusive screening of previously unreleased video contributions taken from the DVD in which the Boss, in an acoustic showcase, presents songs from the new album.
Also from the stroke of midnight it will be possible for all his fans to purchase the world premiere of 'Devils & Dust'. Buyers will be given an exclusive numbered Bruce Springsteen poster (while stocks last).
The album, Springsteen's 19th, contains 12 previously unreleased songs and is produced by Brendan O´Brien, who already worked with the Boss on the critically acclaimed 'The Rising'.
'Devils & Dust' was recorded at studios in Los Angeles, New Jersey and Atlanta. Springsteen compared the atmospheres of the new CD to those of 'Nebraska' and 'Tom Joad'. The CD', Springsteen explains, 'is about individual people fighting against their own demons, people fighting against their own inner turmoil, sometimes well and sometimes tragically'.
