SUMMER DATE IN ROME FOR NATALIE IMBRUGLIA

Natalie Imbruglia arrives in Italy for a new show, Saturday 18 July 2015 at the Porta di Roma Gallery (via A. Lionello 201, Rome), with free admission (starting at 9.30 p.m.).
The Australian superstar is returning to stages around the world to present her new album, the title of which is still a secret, to be released by Sony Masterworks next March. The album will feature covers of songs by male artists, from Neil Young to Daft Punk, who have inspired Natalie Imbruglia over the years. In addition to her well-known talents as a singer-songwriter and performer, Natalie Imbruglia is also an actress. Success for her came in 1997 with the worldwide hit "Torn" contained in "Left Of The Middle" (RCA Records), which sold more than 7 million copies worldwide; a few years later came "Counting Down The Days" (Sony BMG, 2005) with the hit "Shiver", which went gold in the UK. In addition to her artistic career, Natalie Imbruglia is known for her humanitarian commitment: she fights for women's health in Africa and has visited Nigeria many times, attended UN meetings in Geneva and in the coming months will start filming a documentary on the dramatic situation in Ethiopia.
