The dates of the 'Implausible Beauty 2012' tour unveiled

David Sylvian announces a European tour in March 2012, the first concert series for the artist since 2007. Entitled 'Implausible Beauty', the tour includes four dates in Italy: 1 March at the Gran Teatro Geox in Padua, 2 March at the Conservatorio in Milan, 4 March at the Auditorium Parco della Musica in Rome and 5 March at the Teatro delle Celebrazioni in Bologna.

Tickets for the Italian concerts, organised by Barley Arts, will be on sale from Friday 23 September. For the dates in Padua, Milan and Bologna, pre-sales are on the Ticketone.it website and related sales outlets; as for Rome, on the Lottomatica circuit (Listicket.it) .

David Sylvianpop idol at the turn of the 1980s with his Japan and later an artist with a complex and fascinating poetics and endowed with one of the most beautiful and musical voices ever heard, has continued to cultivate a path sometimes far removed from the consumer logic of the music market, but always of the highest artistic level. Albums such as 'Gone To Earth' e "Secrets of the Beehive', composed at the beginning of his solo career, are as relevant today as the projects "Rain Tree Crow', basically a Japan reunion in an adult key in the early 1990s, and 'Nine Horses' 2005, again alongside his brother Steve Jansenthrough "Dead Bees on A Cake', a return to a more accessible poetics at the beginning of the new millennium, to more recent sound experiments with various contemporary music collaborators, including Japanese composers Ryuichi Sakamoto (Sylvian's former musical partner on several occasions), Masakatzu Takagi e Dai Fujikura, the Austrian electronic musician Christian Fennesz and others, resulting in "Blemish', 'Manafon'. and in the more recent "Died In The Wool "his most recent work, released in May 2011.
