After the exciting Milanese sold-out performances in May 2019 for the launch of their album Dionysus (PIAS), Brendan Perry, Lisa Gerrard and their musicians return to Italy for two dates: Friday 2 e Saturday 3 April 2021 at the Teatro degli Arcimboldi in Milan. I tickets will be available on the circuits Ticketone, Ticketmaster e Vivaticket from 10 a.m. on Friday 11 September.
Since its inception in 1981, the Australian duo has long been intrigued by European folk traditions, not only in musical terms, but also in terms of secular, religious and spiritual practices. For Dionysus Brendan Perry explored the long established spring and harvest festivals that originated from the religious practices of Dionysus, a journey that brings to the fore the rites and rituals that are still practised to this day.
In addition to their latest, acclaimed work, the band will present a setlist that draws from their nearly 40-year career. Including tracks from The Serpent's Egg, Aion e Into The Labyrinth and much more.
