I DEEP PURPLE are gearing up for a live 2007, with a new European tour, and here's a sneak preview of the confirmation of two concerts in Italy, particularly in Sicily, where the band led by Ian Gillan has never played before.
The appointment with the fans is for the 9 and 10 March 2007, in Palermo and Acireale respectively. The two Sicilian dates, however, will not be the only ones in Italy, since confirmation is expected shortly for 2 more concerts in Calabria and Apulia. The band consists of IAN GILLAN (vocals) ROGER GLOVER (bass), IAN PAICE (drums), STEVE MORSE (guitar) and DON AIREY (keyboards)For his return to Italy, he chose to focus on the southern regions from which he had been absent for many years.
DEEP PURPLE's latest studio album, 'Rapture of The Deep (EMI)' dates back to 2005. Details on the start of pre-sales will be available shortly.
