After the announcement of Deep Purple, who will be on stage at the DGS of Vigevano on 21 July, another fundamental British hard rock band. Here comes Motorhead, the most famous trio in British heavy music, led by one of the most charismatic figures in the music business of all time: Lemmy.
Motorhead need little introduction, they wrote indelible pages of the most direct and fast rock ever. "Ace of Spades, Overkill, Born to Raise Hell, Stone Dead Forever... are just a few of the titles of the masterpieces Lemmy has churned out in his almost forty-year career.
The band has just released the live album 'The World is Yours Vol. 2', which proves that they are still a real war machine live.
Motorhead is by far the most recognisable and award-winning band in the hard rock world, selling almost fifty million records, eighteen million of them in the US alone.
The current line-up, stable since 1992, sees the undisputed leader Lemmy Kilmister on bass and vocals, Phil Campbell on guitar and Mikkey Dee on drums.
