A few days after his Milan show - sold out in advance - Tom Odell confirmation a single summer date in one of the most beautiful open-air venues in the country: Sunday 4 August 2024 at the Cavea of the Auditorium Parco della Musica Ennio Morriconewithin the framework of Rome Summer Fest. I tickets for the show will be available on Ticketone from 3 p.m. today.
During the tour Tom Odell will present pieces by Black Fridayreleased last January on the UROK. This new album presents the singer-songwriter's sincere lyricism within a meditation on the infinite complexity of love and relationships. The title track Black Friday has to date exceeded 100 million streams on Spotify and continues to experience phenomenal success on TikTok, with fan-generated content generating over 1 billion interactions on the platform.
Breaking away from the piano-driven minimalism of Best Day of My Life - 2022 album entered the UK Top 10 and was nominated for theIvor Novello Awards - Black Friday presents a selection of songs composed extemporaneously on a nearly 100-year-old guitar in Tom's East London studio, where the creation of such a compelling work meant the composer had to balance his honesty with a certain level of poetic freedom. The tour dedicated to the presentation of Black Friday recorded a long list of sold out months in advance, including the Milan concert on 4 April.
