The grotesque nature of the track is evident from the pun in the title: a surreal, anti-Christmas single for all those lost souls who hate the clichés of the most anticipated (and dreaded) holiday of the year. With the new track, the Finley have dressed up as the Grinch to write a song that will not go unnoticed. Santa Claustrophobia is the best way to exorcise this long countdown to 25 December. 'Nothing personal against Christmas'- says Pedro, lead singer of the band. "What I really cannot tolerate about this holiday are its hooligans. A host of people from different walks of life who live in anticipation of this day and not all the others. And I've always been a bit bored by traditions. It's more fun to go off the rails, like in music. To celebrate the release of the track, exclusively on Music First the bundle will be available Christmas package containing the new T-shirt by Santa Claustrophobiathe Christmas ball from the Finley and a special set of greeting cards. A further gift from the Finley fans will be the date of Bovolone which will be recovered Friday 6 December following the cancellation of the concert scheduled for last June. I Finley are Pedro (voice), Ka (guitar), Dani (drums) e Ivan (bass). The band, which was formed in 2002 in high school, is the natural evolution of the friendship between the four musicians. Their debut album, Everything is possibletheir success in 2006: produced by Claudio Cecchettoin just a few months it becomes double platinum disc with over 160,000 copies sold. To crown a successful year, the band is awarded the Best Italian Act at MTV Europe Music Awards from Copenhagen. In 2007 they released their second album, Adrenalinaccompanied by a tour that, after having toured all over Italy, takes the band to the stages of the most prestigious European festivals, including Rock AM Ring e Rock IM Park in Germany, Wireless Festival in England and Pier Pressure in Sweden. The year 2008 coincides with participation in the Sanremo Festivalon the occasion of which the Finley publish Adrenalin 2which becomes platinum disc and allows them to win the second Best Italian Act at MTV EMA's from Liverpool. The band's journey continues unabated, with the albums Out! (2010) e Fire and flames (2012) continues to churn out successes and prestigious collaborations such as that with one of the masters of Italian song, the great Edoardo Bennato. In 2013, they were chosen by LEGO to create the soundtrack of Legends of Chimaan animated TV series distributed worldwide. In the same year the band decided to expand its musical boundaries: thus began an unprecedented and successful radio career that brought them first on the frequencies of Radio Kiss Kisson those of Radio Monte Carlo and now on those of R101. In 2018, after the release of the latest unreleased album, Armstrong (Randa Group, 2017),i Finley Italy with more than 50 concerts. Barley Artstopping off this successful tour with an incredible sold out at Alcatraz in Milan. The footage taken during this date became the images for the video of You will become a starband's historic hit, contained in the collection We Are Finley (Randa Group, 2019)published in all the major digital store in May 2019 via The Orchard. The album is a collection of the band's best songs recorded live, but also contains unreleased tracks San Diegosinger Pedro's dedication to his son Diego, and All I have, a track chosen by Sky Sports as the soundtrack to the 2018 and 2019 Formula 1 World Cups.
