After announcing a long tour across the US and Canada, today Loreena McKennitt also makes fans on the old continent happy with a 23-date European tour dedicated to The Visitone of his most award-winning and popular works, which will also tour Italy in two occasions: Wednesday 20 March 2024 at the Gran Teatro Morato in Brescia e Thursday 21 March at the Gran Teatro Geox in Padua. The Visit Revisited Tour celebrates the anniversary of the release of the 1992 album that got Loreena McKennitt popularity at an international level. To do so, the Canadian singer-songwriter will be accompanied by four of her long-standing collaborators: Caroline Lavelle on the cello, Brian Hughes on guitar, Hugh Marsh on violin and Dudley Phillips on bass. The concert will consist of two setsThe first will be dedicated to the most famous songs of the singer-songwriter's career, while the second will be entirely dedicated to the songs that make up the album.
"The last time I performed in Europe was 2019 and a lot has happened since then. It will be great to return next spring and to be able to meet again the familiar faces that I have missed during this turbulent time," says the McKennitt.
