The first official recognition came with the release of Oh My God, Charlie Darwin (2008)that the British chain Rough Trade elects Album of the Month and allows the Low Anthem to sign with labels Nonesuch Records e Bella Unionas well as participating in festivals such as Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo, Glastonbury and the historian Newport Folk Festival.
Over the past thirteen years, the band has garnered public and critical acclaim with its five concept albums and its numerous tours around the world, both as headliners and opening for the likes of Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, Emmylou Harris, Timber Timbre and many others.
The Low Anthem are Ben Knox Miller (voice, guitar, pianet, trumpet, saw), Jeff Prystowsky (drums, double bass, electric bass, synth) Florence Grace Wallis (voice, violin) and Byan Minto (guitar, harmonica).
