It will be one of Italy's most popular blues bands, the Treves Blues Band by Fabio Trevesto open two of the three Italian dates of Vintage Troubleand more specifically those of Sunday 17 July 2022 at the Chiari Blues Festival in Chiari (BS) e Wednesday 20 July at Phenomenon in Fontaneto d'Agogna (NO). I tickets of the concerts - to which is added that of Tuesday 19 July at the Pordenone Blues Festival together with Christone 'Kingfish' Ingram - are available on Ticketone (all dates), Ticketmaster (Chiari) and Ciaotickets (Fontaneto).
Since their formation in 2010, the Vintage Trouble have become rock'n'roll's best-kept secret. Distilling swaggering rock, soul-tinged blues, R&B groove and pop ambition into a bold and brash blend, the quartet - Ty Taylor (voice), Nalle Colt (guitar), Rick Barrio Dill (bass) and Richard Danielson (drums) - has played over 3,000 shows in 30 countries, touring with rock gods such as The Who, The Rolling Stones, AC/DC, Lenny Kravitz e Bon Jovito name but a few. Along the way, they performed at Later... with Jools Holland, Jimmy Kimmel LIVE!, Conan, The View e The Tonight Show as well as being acclaimed by New York Times, NPR, The Wall Street Journal, Billboard, Rolling Stone and many others.
The adventure of the Treves Blues Band began in 1974, when a young harmonica player from Lambrate decided to set out on an 'impossible mission': to spread the values of the Blues, its history and its great performers. The harmonica player in question is Fabio Treveshenceforth renamed the "Puma of Lambrate"who has travelled the length and breadth of Italy and the world with his band, and has held high the flag of Italian Blues. His concerts are a journey through the history of this music, from the earliest work songs to the archaic country music, from the electric blues of Chicago to the more modern blues. Treves has played with many blues legends throughout his career, and is the only Italian artist to have played on stage with Frank Zappa.
The stage at Chiari Blues Festival brings the number of evenings of the fifth edition of the event to four, following thecancellation of the concert by Dweezil Zappa by Saturday 2 July.
