I Towers of London come from London and are described by the press as 'the UK's most famous, unconventional, anti-social band'. The band consists of the brothers Donny and Dirk Tourette (vocals and guitar and songwriters), The Rev (guitar), Tommy Brunette (bass) and Snell (drums). Their music is a great mix between the glam-rock of early Gun's n Roses and that punk'n'roll nature so dear to the British tradition. Good-looking, studiously dirty and bad. The look is reminiscent of Ramones and Alice Cooper, and the lyrics and character of the boys evoke the figure of Johnny Rotten. The singer Donny has already been prosecuted and fined for destroying scaffolding at Cambridge University during a concert. Two singles 'On a noose" e "Fuck it up" to sign with the American TVT and end up right on the cover of NME. The debut album will be entitled "Blood, Sweat and Towers"and is scheduled to be released in June 2006.
Before the release of the album, TOWERS OF LONDON will hold their first Italian concert : appointment scheduled for 24 MAY at the RAINBOW CLUB in MILAN. Tickets are already available on the Ticketone circuit, at a cost of 12 euros + dir.prev.
