Four years after their last Italian concert, the G3 return with a new line-up. Joe Satriani e Steve Vai will be accompanied by the Aristocrats for three dates: Saturday 2 July 2016 at Postepay Rock in Roma at the Ippodromo delle Capannelle, Sunday 3 July in Piazza Matteotti in Sogliano al Rubicone (FC) e Monday 4 July in Piazza del Popolo in Ascoli Piceno. Ticket sales will start on the circuit Ticketone 10 a.m. on Friday 26 Februarywhile for the Rome date they will be available in presale for Postepay Rock in Roma Club members from Thursday and from Friday on the circuit Ticketone and on PostePaySound.
G3 is the umbrella under which, since 1995, the Joe Satriani decided to bring together the world's most talented guitarists. Over the years they have been part of the Steve Lukather, Yngwie Malmsteen, Steve Morse, John Petrucci, Eric Johnson and many others, as well as the almost permanent presence of Satriani's historic pupil Steve Vai.
Joe Satriani returns to Italy less than a year after his last solo tour, his first in Italian theatres, which saw him play four dates in Milan, Florence, Rome and San Benedetto del Tronto (AP) last October. Steve Vaiinstead, is preparing to celebrate the 25th birthday of its historic album "Passion And Warfare (Sony) with a new edition featuring new songs and a world tour.
In 2016, Satriani e Go arrive in the company of the The Aristocratsband formed by virtuosos Guthrie Govan (guitar), Bryan Beller (bass) and Marco Minnemann (drums), which from their debut album "The Aristocrats (2011) have become one of the most sought-after instrumental rock/fusion live acts in the world and in 2015 released the CD/DVD "Culture Clash Live" and the third studio album "Tres Caballeros".
