The wait is over: will be released on Tuesday 8 April in digital stores "everybody DOWN", the first ep by Giuseppe Di Benedettothe talented Sicilian pianist produced by the Barley Arts by Claudio Trotta.
The record will be premiered on 8 April at 75 Beat in Milan (concert starts at 7 p.m. - free admission with Arci membership card).
Preceded by the track "Répartir, "everybody DOWN"is a collection of 7 original compositions that introduce the listener to the world of Giuseppe Di Benedetto. That of the artist from Palermo is music that defies simple classification. Through the exploration of the infinite expressive potential of his instrument, the piano, Giuseppe Di Benedetto outlines ever-changing sound universes, evocative and poetic, rich in cinematic suggestions and ever-changing colours.
It is no coincidence that for Barley Arts was love at first hearing. When the paths of Joseph and Claudio Trotta crossed each other, something special happened, to the point that the patron of Barley Arts decided to return to an artist's record production, after his experience with ArteNativa which had launched, among others, The Aura in 2005. An almost forced choice, dictated by the awareness of being in front of an authentic talent, surprising for its freshness and spontaneity.
The result of this fruitful collaboration, after several live dates - among them "Piano in... Cinema!" to the Creative Workshops Ansaldo and participation in Pianocity 2013 - finally sees the light.
