GIVIN IT UP LIVE: A SPECIAL EVENING WITH GEORGE BENSON & AL JARREAU IN MILAN

'Givin' it up'first album signed by GEORGE BENSON and AL JARREAUnow becomes a tour one year after its release: a project that re-presents some of the best episodes signed by the two artists.
A few hints: BENSON's jazz guitar will play the instrumental version of Mornin'one of JARREAU's most representative songs, who, in turn, will interpret with his voice 'Breezin'composed by the American guitarist himself. Two examples to get closer to the spirit of contamination of this project, during which there will be other moments of great interest, first among others, a series of sung versions of songs by Miles Davis.
This new adventure has already earned the two legendary musicians prestigious awards. Last February, in fact, 'Mornin' won the GRAMMY as best instrumental pop song while their version of 'God Bless The Child' won the same award as best traditional Rn'B song. For George Benson this is the eighth Grammy of his career, for Al Jarreau the fifth.

The duo comes to Milan in the company of a band consisting of Stanley Banks on bass, Thom Hall on keyboards, Micheal O' Neill on guitar and Mark Simmons on percussion.
