ALIEN WEAPONRY soon in ITALY: double date with METAL in the MAORI language

What would Sepultura be like if they sang in the Maori language? The very young Alien Weaponry are ready to prove it to us with two concerts that promise to be truly special: Monday 15 July 2019 at Magnolia Club by Segrate (MI) e Tuesday 16 July at Music Park by Padua. Tickets are available on the following circuits Vivaticket e Ticketone (online and points of sale), for the Padua date also on DIY Ticket. Beware of unofficial circuits!

The three band members, the brothers Lewis and Henry de Jong, respectively vocals/guitar and drums, and Ethan Trembath, on the bass, give life to the Alien Weaponry in the city of Waipu, New Zealandin 2010. The boys study in a Maori Schoolwhere speaking and singing in the mother tongue is daily routine, but they approach the western music of the Metallica, Rage Against the Machine Red Hot Chili Peppers. These combinations of music, language and history form the basis of the band's sound and ideas.

From the debut album Tū (Napalm Records, 2018) the Alien Weaponry have managed to make a global name for themselves, building a solid fan base and garnering more than positive reviews in the news media. Most of their song lyrics are in the language Te Reo Maori and all 13 tracks of their record tell stories full of emotion and pain, but with a warrior and politically aligned attitude. Henry de Jong, the band's drummer, stated: "Our style and the messages we deliver are often brutal and angry, but that is what stories of great courage require!"

The Alien Weaponry have performed countless times in their homeland, but have also had the opportunity to participate in major festivals in Australia, Europe and the UK. Now they are ready to hit the road again with a new tour that will first touch their home country, then the US and Europe.
