British metalcore revelation InVisions will open SPIRITBOX's only Italian date!

It will be the InVisions to open theonly Italian date of Spiritbox set for Wednesday 8 June 2022 at the Legend Club in Milan. I tickets are already available on Ticketone e Ticketmaster.

Since forming from the ashes of previous bands in 2016, the InVisions have become one of the most promising and pissed off bands in the UK metalcore scene. Thanks to their 2017 debut full-length Never Nothing, the InVisions started a tour in the UK and participated in the Dowload Festival. The second album, Between You And Me, coming out in 2019 for Stay Sick Recordings and increased their fan base throughout Europe.

Now the InVisions return with their third album, Deadlocktheir most ambitious and comprehensive work to date. Conceived during the lockdown and recorded and produced by the band themselves, Deadlock has had quite a long gestation period. Whereas previously the band had focused on the power of their music, feeding brutality with the attitude of a demolition company, in this work they want to show that they have other tools with which to inflict sonic damage. Through its pieces Deadlock analyses the loss, frustration and insecurity that comes when distractions are few and life's doubts begin to loom on the horizon.

The Spiritboxthe revelation of international heavy metal in recent years, come to Italy to present their first full length Eternal Bluereleased last September on the Rise. Couple on stage and in life, Courtney LaPlante e Michael Stringer debuted with a self-produced EP in 2017, immediately gaining a decent fanbase. In 2018, the duo found their musical counterpart in bassist Bill Crook and together they started a collaboration with Pale Chord Music to continue producing EPs and singles.

The Spiritbox have quickly become one of the most exciting, creative and recognisable newcomers to the world of heavy metal, pushing the sonic and visual boundaries of the genre further and further with their videos, which pair well with the hard sounds combined with Courtney's ethereal voice and the power of her visceral scream. The band takes its name from the device that seems to be able to connect the world of the living with the world of the dead, and has a great interest in the world of the paranormal, which drives all its artistic activity, expressing it through the use of EVP (Electronic Voices Phenomena) recordings - the phenomenon that concerns the manifestation of voices of apparently non-human origin in recordings using electronic instruments - in their songs and during live performances. A quick look at their videos Belcarra, Blessed Be e Rule of Nine makes it clear that the band is no stranger to the macabre and paranormal.

In February 2020 the Spiritbox have jumped on a plane to embark on a European tour as support for the After The Burialwhich unfortunately had to stop due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Despite the unforeseen early return to Canada, the band kept busy and released the long-awaited long play Eternal Bluewhich they will now present with a long tour.
