Big comeback in Italy for FLAMING LIPS, on 14 November at Alcatraz in Milan!

After the amazing Italian event in 2017, the crazy Flaming Lips return to Italy for an unmissable show Wednesday 14 November at Alcatraz in Milan. I tickets will be on sale from 10 a.m. on Wednesday 28 March on circuit Vivaticket (online and points of sale).

Winners of three Grammy Awards, i Flaming Lips are one of the most enduring, unpredictable, influential and universally respected bands of their generation, defined as one of the best live bands ever thanks to their shows that overwhelm the senses, characterised by special costumes and sets, inflatable balloons, puppets, video projections, light games, giant heads, confetti and above all what has been their trademark for years: a transparent plastic ball inside which the leader Wayne Coyne runs through the audience in the auditorium. The formation also has a long series of projects in the extra-musical sphere to its credit, for example the collaboration with the Few Spirits for the Brainville Rye Whiskeya special distillation signed by the band.

In 2017 the Flaming Lips They return with an album in which they continue their experimentation, but focusing on the song-form, drawing on the best parts of their most critically acclaimed albums The Soft Bulletin (Warner Bros. Records, 1999) e Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots (Warner Bros. Records, 2002). In Oczy Mlody there is no shortage of guests: comedian and singer Reggie Watts participates in There Should Be Unicorns and, after the collaboration on the album Miley Cyrus & Her Dead PetzCyrus lends her voice to We A Famly.
