GRANDSON - NEW SINGLE EULOGY OUT NOW FIRST HEADLINING DATE IN ITALY 3 OCTOBER IN MILAN

Last summer he was the special guest on the only Italian date of the Deftones in Bologna: now grandson is ready to return to our country, for the first time as a headliner: Tuesday 3 October 2023 at Magazzini Generali, Milan. They are active as of now pre-sales for the artist's fans, while tickets will be available at Ticketone e Ticketmaster from 10 a.m. on Friday 3 March.

The announcement of the new dates, including the Italian one, comes at the same time as the release of Eulogy, the first unreleased since 2021 released today on all platforms via Fueled By Ramen. "I wrote Eulogy after a bad mushroom trip last summer, which led me to scrap my album and admit to myself and others that I have problems with self-harm fantasies. It is easy to feel nihilistic or cynical about the future, and it is strangely comfortable to indulge in the depressing absurdity of everyday life with the only people in the world who understand you', states grandson.

Eulogy follows the release of Drop Deadthe single together with Ke$ha e Travis Barker released in 2021 as a reworking of a track from the debut album by grandson Death of an Optimist. For Rolling Stone, "Drop Dead moves effortlessly between atmospheric stanzas and an arena rock chorus". Variety hailed it as "an encouraging appeal to perseverance in the face of difficulties."
