HORISONT and DEAD LORD, Sweden moves to Milan for an evening!

The Horisont formed in Gothenburg in 2006 and immediately made a name for themselves with their familiar yet original sound, which drew inspiration from the gritty boisterousness of the New Wave of Heavy Metal as well as the storm of early psychedelic rock, with a good amount of surprises. The first two albums, Tva Sidor Av Horisonten (Crusher, 2009) e Second Assault (Metal Blade, 2012) have made the Horisont established themselves as one of the most instinctive and quirky formations of so-called retro rock. In 2017 the band released for Century Media Records About Timewhich marks the beginning of the band's second decade with a bold florilegium of excellent ideas imbued with old school spirit, as vivid and substantial as the music that made the Horisont formed.

Born in 2012, the Dead Lord are a true act of love for the singer, guitarist and songwriter Hakim Krim. After leaving his previous band to follow his musical taste, Krim brought friends together Olle Hedenstrom (guitar), Tobias Lindkvist (bass) and Adam Lindmark (drums) and together they gave birth to Goodbye Repentance (High Roller Records, 2013)the first album by the Dead Lord with a 70s aftertaste. This work set in motion the mechanism that led to the band's debut on a major label with their second work Heads Held High (Century Media Records, 2015). Once again firmly rooted in Seventies-style rock, the album sounds exceptionally warm for a modern production. It is rowdy with the grit of a veteran garage band, it makes itself heard without overwhelming thanks to its live-and-raw feel that owes much to Thin Lizzy, Uriah Heep, Bad Company e Led Zeppelin. The only missing element is the crackle in the silence between tracks on old vinyl.
