The Hyukoh are ready to return to Italy after the extraordinary sell-out a year ago: they will play Tuesday 28 April 2020 to theAlcatraz by Milan. Tickets will be available from from 10 am by Friday 15 November 2019 on circuits Vivaticket, Ticketone e Ticketmaster (online and point of sale).
There are four members of the Korean indie rock band: OHHYUK (vocals, guitar and producer), DONGGEON (low), HYUNJAE (guitar) and INWOO (percussion). Success for the Hyukoh was immediate: not only in Korea, where they stood out for their approach to music and fashion from the very first moment, but also internationally, winning many fans around the world in no time. With the first EP 20released in 2014, have transcended national borders, helping to increase the popularity of the South Korean scene in the rest of the world. Each disc of the record saga (released by DOOROODOOR) consisting of the EPs and albums 20, 22, 23 e 24: How to find true love and happiness reached number one on the major streaming platforms in Korea. The latter also reached number one on Apple's charts across Asia, topping the best-selling album chart. They are currently working on their long-awaited new album due for release next year.
The Hyukoh express the essence of a youth that is free and crazy and, at the same time, empty and left to its own devices with their own distinctive style, evidenced by collaborations with numerous brands, such as Converse e Chevroletas well as with their music, videos and performances. In 2017, their world tour touched 25 cities between Asia, North America and Europe. In 2018, they embarked on another international tour to present their album 24: How to find true love and happiness Tour which involved no less than 50 cities around the world. In 2019, the band achieved its consecration by playing at the Coachella and in other international festivals such as Lowlands e Pukkelpop. A very long series of live shows that the four musicians have no intention of interrupting, giving fans around the world a new tour next year.
