They have amazed and captivated some of the greatest musicians on the planet: "the most exciting thing I have seen live since Jimi Hendrix's London concert at the Marquee Club in the 1960s", as the great Elton John said of 2 CELLOS, the Slovenian-Croatian cellist duo that he has called on for many of his tours and also involved in 'Elton John - The Million Dollar Piano', the documentary film released at the end of March in 40 countries around the world. His latest album, 'In2ition', released last year by Sony Music, features some truly excellent collaborations: Six-string hero Steve Vai in the reinterpretation of AC/DC's 'Highway to Hell', Coldplay's 'Clocks' and Chinese piano star Lang Lang, who played with the Slovenian-Croatian duo in front of 950 million viewers at the Chinese New Year in early February, actress Naya Rivera in Muse's "Supermassive Black Hole" and Zucchero Fornaciari in "The Book of Love", a reinterpretation of "The Book of Love" by Magnetic Fields and made famous by Peter Gabriel and "obviously" Sir Elton John in his reinterpretation of Fleetwood Mac's "Oh well".

Thanks to the Internet, they have been able to showcase their talent and extraordinary ability to reinterpret the greatest hits from the history of rock and pop in an original and highly spectacular way with just their cello. 2Cellos are the new global phenomenon of 2014.

From Vivaldi's Four Seasons to AC/DC's Thunderstruck, one of their latest works, which has already been viewed by more than 24 million people on YouTube, where the 2Cellos' channel has well over 86 million views. Here is the video of Thunderstruck

.

A new unprecedented planetary success for these two young artists, who joined forces in 2011, whose names are Luka Šulì and Stjepan Hauser. With their excellent classical training, they unleash their interpretations of great rock hits, playing pieces by stars and cult bands such as AC/DC, Michael Jackson, Coldplay, Nirvana, Guns N' Roses, Muse and many others using only their two cellos.

After impressing online audiences and winning over big-name musicians, 2Cellos have confirmed their live status with sold-out concerts and tours everywhere. First in the United States, where they will return next year with a four-month tour, and then worldwide in 2014: 11 sold-out dates in Japan last March in the main halls (capacity 3/4 thousand spectators) of Tokyo, Osaka, Sapporo, Sendai, Nagoya, Fukuoka and Hiroshima, 3 dates in Australia in Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney at the beginning of May, 1 in Singapore, 4 in South Korea in Ulsan, Sungnam and Seoul. The concerts in Italy are also sold out: 2 in Trieste at Politeama Rossetti at the end of May and 1 in Milan at Teatro Strehler for the Mito Festival on September 14. By popular demand, therefore, 2Cellos announce their first real Italian tour with 4 concerts in clubs and theatres between rock, classical and pop: starting on 11 December from Padova at the Gran Teatro Geox, then in Rome at the Atlantico LiveSaturday 13 December in Bologna at the Estragon and finally, Sunday 14 December, in Milan at Fabrique.

Tickets will be on sale from 10 a.m. on Friday 12 September online at Ticketone.co.uk and in authorised Ticketone outlets.
