The dinosaurs are coming: WALKING WITH DINOSAURS - THE ARENA SPECTACULAR lands in Milan, Bologna and Turin!

Walking With Dinosaurs - The Arena Spectacularthe show based on the award-winning BBC television series, finally returns to Italy after a six-year absence. With more than 9 million spectators worldwide, the production will touch the three biggest Italian arenas - Mediolanum Forum di Assago (MI), Unipol Arena in Casalecchio di Reno (BO) e Pala Alpitour in Turinbetween March and April 2019.

Dinosaurs will roam the Earth again when the highly acclaimed production of Walking With Dinosaurs - The Arena Spectacular will resume its journey for a series of new dates starting in summer 2018. With over 9 million viewers in more than 250 cities worldwide, Walking With Dinosaurs - The Arena Spectacular will begin its world tour in July in the UK and continue its journey to Europe's biggest arenas, including Italy. The $20 million production includes new state-of-the-art technology, reaffirming its status as the world's premier dinosaur show.

This modern production will include spectacular modifications to dinosaurs based on the latest scientific research, such as the probable presence of feathers in some species. Walking With Dinosaurs - The Arena Spectacular is produced by Global Creatures. The hour and a half show shows the evolution of dinosaurs with almost cinematic realism: species interact with each other, carnivores evolve and begin to walk on two legs, and herbivores learn to defend themselves against their more agile predators.

Nine species will populate the stage to represent the 200 million years that dinosaurs have ruled the Earth. The stars of the show will be the terrifying Tyrannosaurus Rex together with Plateosaurus and Liliensternus from the Triassic period, Stegosaurus and Allosaurus from the Jurassic period and Torosaurus and Utahraptor from the Cretaceous period. The largest of them, Brachiosaurus, is 11 metres high and 17 metres long from nose to tail tip. It took a year to build this impressive production and a team of 50 professionals including engineers, craftsmen, artists, painters and animatronics experts.

The history of the planet is staged from the continental drift, with the arid desert of the Triassic period giving way to the lush green grasslands of the late Jurassic. Oceans are formed, volcanoes erupt, a forest burns down, right up to the impact of the giant comet that struck the Earth and caused the extinction of the dinosaurs.

Walking With Dinosaurs - The Arena Spectacular was born in Australia in January 2007, after years of planning and work, and in a short time conquered the world with record-breaking audience numbers.

Walking With Dinosaurs - The Arena Spectacular was originally produced in Australia by Gerry Ryan, Malcolm Cooke and Jill Bryant and saw the light of day thanks to Global Creatures.
