Almost two years after their last Italian concert, the band returns to Italy. Wolfmother, band Australian hard rock active since the early 2000s. Appointments to mark in the calendar are for Friday 5 July 2019 at GruVillage Festival by Grugliasco (TO)and for Saturday 6 July at Rock Planet by Pinarella di Cervia (RA). Tickets for this last date will be available from from 10 a.m. on Thursday 21 February at Ticketone (online and point of sale), those for the date of Grugliasco (TO)from Tuesday 26 February on the same sales circuit.
I Wolfmother, led by Andrew Stockdale, released their self-titled debut album in 2005. Wolfmother (Modular, 2005)It went on to earn a gold disc in the US, three platinum declarations in Australia and the title of best album of the year in its genre by Rolling Stone USA. The first single extract, Womanhe positioned himself in the Top 10 of Hot Modern Rock Tracks and won a Grammy Award in the category Best Hard Rock Performance.
The band is inspired by great groups hard rock and heavy metal such as Led Zeppelin, AC/DC and Aerosmith and has managed to gain a large global following over time.
