IAN HUNTER AND THE RANT BAND in October at Bloom in Mezzago

Ian Hunter returns to Italy with his full band for a unique date not to be missed on Monday 16 October at Blooom in Mezzago (MB). Tickets will be available from 10am on Wednesday 31 May on the official Ticketone circuit (website and points of sale). Be wary of unofficial sales channels.

Ian Hunter has always been revered as one of rock'n'roll's most passionate performers and as one of the most important songwriters of our time. Ever since his days as leader of the rock band Mott The Hopple, and with such immortal anthems as 'All The Way From Memphis', 'Once Bitten, Twice Shy' and 'Cleveland Rocks', Ian Hunter has been hailed as a hero by all his fellow musicians and fans worldwide. The successes of his first decade would have been more than enough to secure his iconic status, but Hunter has never rested on past glories and in the last 10 years has released a series of best-selling albums, a major comeback tour and incendiary live performances.

Ian Hunter, after leaving the quintessential glam band in 1974, never stopped releasing albums or touring, continuing the tradition of Mott The Hopple as the best live band of the 1970s. Ian Hunter has always averted any reunion, continuing a successful solo career head-on. 2009's Man Overboard, consecrates 25 years of music since leaving Mott The Hopple: the first album under the name Ian Hunter dates back to 1975, which was followed by many other studio and live works.
