The 2 October 2019 at Menagerie by Milan, Diego 'Deadman' Potron will open the concert by the folk-blues duo Ida Mae. Diego 'Deadman' Potron was founded in 2006 as onemanband (full foot drums, electric guitar, cigar box and vocals), developing a sound initially based on the trash blues and subsequently evolved towards the stoner. During its approximately one thousand live shares the stage with bands such as Clutch, Turbonegro e Deltaheadand is now preparing to bring live Winter Sessionpublished on 5 November 2018 for Ammonia Records and produced by Femur Prod. with Trai Studio. The album presents more intimate and acoustic tones, in line with a dimension desert rock e psychedelic.
The Ida Mae - Chris Turpin e Stephanie Jean - are originally from Norwich, England, but their music draws on the American Delta blues. The duo, after splitting from the Kill It Kidreleased on 7 June its first album entitled Chasing Lights (Vow Road Records/Thirty Tigers, 2019)consisting of 13 original tracks from thesoul rock and intense and profound lyrics. The British press, calling them the new White Stripeshe said: "American blues rock plays in the background of this extraordinary debut, this is the rock we want for these years." It reads on The Independentand again: "One of the most exciting debuts in years!" He says The Scottish Daily Express. The Ida Mae not go unnoticed even by industry insiders, as artists such as Kings of Leon, Marcus King Band, Blackberry Smoke e Greta Van Fleet have chosen them in 2018 as their support band for their tours.
The strength of the Ida Mae Their intimacy creates such a synergy that even the audience becomes part of the scene. The chemistry and magic they unleash is mesmerising. Their minimalist approach to music has made their productions no less charged with feeling and power, elements that are not lacking in live performances either. This autumn, the duo will be taking their gritty act on a tour of Europe, touring Germany, Holland and Spain before arriving in Italy.
