On 14 July, the GruVillage 105 Music Festival will host RÜFÜS DU SOL for an evening of dancing!

I RÜFÜS DU SOL, one of the live electronic music bands of the moment, are set to take the GruVillage stage for the first time next 14 July to transform the outdoor arena of Le Gru into a hot dance room. Direct from Sydney, Australia the band of vocalist and guitarist Tyrone Lindqvist, keyboardist Jon George and drummer James Hunt presents itself to the GruVillage audience as one of the world's most interesting realities in the world of electronic music, with two platinum records behind it - Atlas e Bloom - and a third, Solacewhich has just been released and is about to mark an important new chapter in the trio's history.

For the date at the GruVillage and the European tour, the trio has created a brand new live show that enhances the band's musical dynamics. Analog instruments, powerful visuals and an enthralling show will be the ingredients of a spontaneous, fun and unprecedented show.

An eclectic and inspired musical production that of Rüfüs, with some fifteen singles and remixes to their credit in just a few years, in a virtuoso middle way between indie and intelligent electronic music. And it is through this mixture of styles that their sound has been forged. A music scene that is rooted in club culture's past but at the same time has the ability to keep up with the times.

Their debut album 'Atlas'had reached No. 1 in the Australian charts and platinum status, a success repeated with its follow-up 'Bloom' , album released in 2016, accompanied by the singles 'You Were Right' and 'Innerbloom' and followed by a two-year tour with more than 100 sold-out shows in 13 countries.

'The Australian trio knows how to create a mood and how to sell it'commented Billboardwhile MTV bet on RÜFÜS DU SOL as a project 'ready to explode globally'.

RÜFÜS DU SOL have spent the last year in Venice, California, writing and recording their third album influenced by the Californian desert and landscapes and their experience on the road.

As in the last edition, the 15th edition of GruVillage also opens up to local talent: the two young musicians and producers called upon by RÜFÜS DU SOL to open their set are from Turin. Together they promote electronic and independent music in the city and beyond on evenings entitled Recallindividually are already distinguishing themselves on the international scene.

Opening set by RÜFÜS DU SOL Mariatti, rising talent on the Turin electronic scene. To follow, HolyUMariatti's partner in the Recall project. Born in Turin in 1997, Umberto Milanesio started making music as early as high school and, after a few minor releases, moved with agility towards the underground scene, so much so that he attracted the attentions of one of the world's leading electronic producers, deadmau5, who wanted him on his prestigious mau5trap label. The track Hidden Lines was included in the compilation We Are Friennds vol. 6 along with works by artists such as Attlas, Matt Lange, BlackGummy, No Mana and DeadMau5 himself. The 'mouse-eared DJ' even played a track by HolyU and Mariatti on a live BBC broadcast! His latest work, even more intense and complex, is entitled Overdog.
