ERIC SARDINAS' ROUGH AND PASSIONATE BLUES ON ITALIAN STAGES THIS AUTUMN

Californian blues guitarist Eric Sardinas will be in Italy for three indoor dates. The tour in our country will start on 13 October from Trezzo sull'Adda, arrive in Forlì on the 14th and end in Rome on Saturday the 15th.

A true bluesman, Eric Sardinas started playing guitar at a very young age, influenced by the likes of Robert Johnson, Charlie Patton and Muddy Waters. His music is characterised by a continuous search for intense sounds typical of the deep south of the United States. In 2002, Sardinas participated in the album 'Hei Bo Diddley - A Tribute!' by performing the song 'Ride On Josephine' as a tribute to Bo Diddley, a singer and guitarist who was instrumental in the transition from blues to rock 'n roll. Sardinas is now part of Steve Vai's record label, Favored Nations. In 2005, a tour supporting Vai himself confirmed him as a successful guitarist with the general public. In 2008, 'Eric Sardinas and Big Motor', his fourth and last studio album, was released. With his guitar playing, Sardinas is able to create a unique style, mixing the tradition of blues with the more modern sounds of rock.

In Italy we saw him two years ago, in an exciting tour in the company of Jonny Winter.
