Sardinian guitarist FRANCESCO PIU will support JOHN MAYALL's Italian tour

John Mayall, pioneering music for over 50 years blues, will soon be in Italy with a series of live dates. Here are all the dates of his spring tour in our country.

Opening his concerts will be Francesco Piu, a Sardinian artist who will bring to the stage an explosive mixture of blues, funky and rock in an acoustic key. The singer and guitarist, born in 1981, has several studio albums to his credit and in the past has had the opportunity to perform as opening act at concerts of international artists, including Joe Bonamassa, Roy Rogerse Johnny Winterbut also compatriots such as Davide Van De Sfroos, Eugenio Finardie Fabio Treves.

John Mayall, The Godfather of British Bluessigned in 2013 with record producer Eric Corne's label, the Forty Below Recordsand has since experienced a true artistic renaissance, including the introduction of his name in the Blues Hall of Famewhich took place in 2015. The next 22 Februarythe artist will publish Nobody Told Mea new studio albumfor which he once again used the professional help of Eric Corne. This work also boasts an impressive and varied list of collaborations with guitarists such as Joe Bonamassa, Carolyn Wonderland, Todd Rundgren, Larry McCray, Alex Lifesone Stevie Van Zandtsome of whom will also be at John Mayall's side during his new tour.
