The first Italian concert of the young South African singer-songwriter Matthew Mole scheduled for Sunday 24 April 2022 in Milan will undergo a slight change: it will no longer be held at Biko, as initially announced, but at theArchery Beauty. I tickets already issued remain valid for access and new ones are already on sale on EventbriteThe new location will also require the ARCI card to attend the concert.
Matthew has been a real star in his country for years: his debut album, The Home We BuiltIt was released in 2013 and was the first record by a South African artist in history to debut at number one on the local iTunes chart. Run (2016) e Ghost (2019). In 2014, he had the honour of performing at President Jacob Zuma's inauguration ceremony, and last year he earned six nominations for the South African Awardswinning the prize in the category Best Pop. His single Take Yours, I'll Take Mine has exceeded 20 million views on YouTube and are over 650,000 its monthly listeners at Spotify.
His mix of pop and folk with electronic overtones has not failed to attract attention outside the African continent: Matthew performed in the USA, the UK, Germany, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Austria, Russia and Thailand to sold-out crowds, and opened for such established artists as Bastille, Of Monsters And Men, Carly Rae Jepsen e The Frayand his pieces have been used in the soundtrack of Grey's Anatomy and several other TV series. A concert not to be missed by fans of Mumford & Sons, John Butler e Xavier Rudd.
