US guitar hero PAUL GILBERT in Italy in October for three dates!

One of the most popular guitarists on the international heavy metal scene, Paul Gilbert arrives in Italy for three autumn dates with the new solo album I Can Destroypublished last May on the earMUSIC: Thursday 20 October at Zona Roveri in Bologna, Friday 21 October at the Container in Grottammare (AP) e Saturday 22 October at Bloom in Mezzago (MB). Tickets will be available from 9 a.m. on Friday 5 August on circuit TicketOne and related outlets.

Active since the 1980s, Paul Gilbert is best known for having played for several years in the Racer X as well as being among the founding members of the Mr. Bigwhich he left in 1996 to devote himself mainly to his solo career. Over the years, he has also collaborated with Joe Satriani e John Petrucci on the project G3with George Lynch e Richie Kotzen for the Guitar Generation Tour and many more. I Can Destroy is the 18th solo album by Paul Gilbertrecorded with the collaboration of producer Kevin Shirley (Journey, Iron Maiden, Joe Bonamassa) and with the support of Freddie Nelson e Tony Spinner voices and guitars, by Kevin Chown bass and Thomas Lang to the battery.

Paul Gilbert is today considered one of the best guitarists in the world, thanks to an unmistakable style that has evolved over the years from the ultra-technical virtuosity of the 1980s with the Racer Xto the more melodic nuance acquired in the period Mr. Bigto the greater stylistic versatility adopted during his solo career, which also incorporates blues, Latin American rhythms and power pop.
