Victory went to the cover of the issue of Rolling Stone published on 15 November 1990. Second and third place went respectively to the cover of Newsweek of 27 October 1975 and Time of 5 August last year.
Certainly noteworthy are the placings of the local magazines: The Wild Bunch takes two positions in this special Best Covers ranking (in eighth and 23rd place), while Rockstar takes 21st position.
