THE RETURN OF THE MULE: THREE DATES IN ITALY FOR WARREN HAYNES' GOV'T MULE

At the beginning of the year 2000, there were two certainties hovering around the Gov't Mule. The first: Gov't Mule was on the verge of disappearing from the scene, due to the premature death of the bass player Allen Woody. The second: Italy would never have seen Gov't Mule live, both because of the now imminent break-up and because of the low profile of our country in the European routes of the last tours.

Then it happens that Warren Haynesthe band's historical and undisputed deus ex machina, not only suddenly reformed the Mule - with the inclusion of Andy Hess (last bassist of Black Crowes of the Robinson brothers) and keyboardist Danny Louis - but also arrived in Italy, exactly one year ago, at Milan's Alcatraz, a mini-event experienced by Italian fans with the enthusiasm that has always accompanied the band in our parts.

Now the Gov't Mule are back in Italy again, and for three dates : Pistoia (as part of the Pistoia Blues Festival in Piazza Duomo), Gardone Riviera (in the venue that last year hosted the historic Van Der Graaf Generator concert) and finally Rome.

The wind of southern rock is blowing again!
