One year after his last tour, Eric Sardinas returns to Italy for two unmissable dates: one
at Cinema Theatre of Cologne Bresciano the 26 April 2012 and the other at Fillmore of Cortemaggiore (PC) the 27 April. And this time, Eric Sardinas is back on the scene with a new album: "Sticks & Stones". This latest work, produced by Matt Gruber for the Mascot Recordswas released on 22 August 2011 and features the collaboration of Level Price on bass (as in the previous disc) and Chris Frazier to the battery.
Always inspired by the great American bluesmen of the '20s and '30s (from Bukka White to Skip James, from Elmore James to Charlie Patton and Son House...), Eric Sardinas has produced an album - 11 tracks - with numerous acoustic solos, vehement blues lines, wild sounds that, mixed with irrepressible electric sounds, contrast the more barbaric and primordial side of the blues (to which Sardinas is very attached) with the more evolved and progressive side. "I like the result of this disc - says Eric Sardinas - It's as raw as I expected... it has the tradition still intact in it.".
Eric Sardinas was born in Florida in 1970. One of a kind, an undisputed showman and one of the best "electrified dobro players"is one of the greatest rock-electro-blues guitarists.
He made his debut in 1999 with "Treat Me Right"In 2001, he released his second album '.Devil's Train"and in 2003 came out with "Black Pearls" published by Favoured Nationsrecord label founded by guitarist Steve Vai.Five years later, he returned to the scene with a self-titled album "Eric Sardinas & Big Motor"registered with Levell Price atlowe Patrick Caccia to the battery.
We will see him in Italy in April to experience his latest work, "Sticks & Stones". Two shows, two shows with energy and tradition.
