In compliance with the measures issued worldwide to counter the spread of the COVID-19 virus, the farewell tour of the Clannad is rescheduled for 2021. The only Italian date will no longer be held Tuesday 26 May 2020 as initially communicated, but Tuesday 27 April 2021 at Phenomenon in Fontaneto d'Agogna (NO). I tickets already issued are valid for access to the concert and sales are regularly open on the channels Ticketone e Ciaotickets.
From her home in Donegal, the vocalist Moya Brennan states 'In recent weeks we have been experiencing unprecedented upheaval due to the global spread of the COVID-19 virus, and the result is that the music industry is suffering severe damage. However, we would like to reassure all our fans and friends around the world that we will strive at 100% to complete our Farewell Tour."
The founding member Pól Brennan he adds 'We are really happy that the promoters and our agent in particular have managed the titanic feat of rescheduling the entire European tour in just two weeks. We look forward to bringing In A Lifetime - The Farewell Tour in Europe between March and April 2021 and fulfil our duty to the many fans of the Clannadand bid them a fond farewell."
