The two 19-year-olds, friends since childhood, never imagined they would become world famous. During the summer before their senior year of high school, Gilinsky e Johnson start shooting short videos that they upload to the social network Vine and, within a few months, won the hearts of millions of fans.
They are currently shooting music videos, working on an album due in 2016 and starting rehearsals for a tour of Europe and South America that is expected to sell out soon, as well as writing a comedy series that will be filmed early next year. In all this, Jack & Jack remain true to their commitment to brighten people's day and have fun doing it.
In just a few years of work, they have already racked up record numbers: more than one million singles sold, 11 independent singles all reached the iTunes chart, more than 73 million views on their official YouTube channel. Jack & Jack have also opened shows of Demi Lovato, played at the Wembley Arena and participated in the panels of the SXSW in 2015.
