Three years since the last unforgettable performance of Jack Johnson in our country, on stage in the enchanting setting of the Castle of Vigevano as part of the "10 Days of Music 2011'the much-loved Hawaiian-born singer-songwriter returns to Italy for the Pistoia Blues Festival 2014.
Jack Johnson will perform in Pistoia's Piazza del Duomo on 14 July 2014.
I tickets for the date will be on sale from Thursday 4 December on the Ticketone circuit.
Jack Johnson, music fans' favourite surfer, the Australian songwriter who has managed to sell 10 million albums worldwide, returns to Italy to present songs from his latest album 'From Here to Now to You"published on 17 September 2013 by Brushfire Recordslabel he founded.
Jack Johnson started out as a director and author of the music for surf films - a sport he practised competitively from an early age - until his songs found their way into the hands of Ben Harper and his producer, J. P. Plunier, who help him complete his first record, "Brushfire Fairytales"released in 2001. It was the beginning of his career as a singer-songwriter, thanks to a series of acclaimed albums in which he reworked his musical references (Nick Drake, Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Jimi Hendrix and Radiohead), creating a hypnotic sound with blues and funk influences, which became his unmistakable trademark.
