JAY BRANNAN AND HIS 'ROB ME BLIND', IN ITALY IN MAY

After the debut with "Goddamned" and the success of "In Living Cover"which brought him to Italy twice already, the young Texan singer-songwriter Jay Brannan returns to present his latest record work, Rob Me Blind.
First stage in Rome, at the Circolo degli artisti, on 15 May 2012; second in Milan, at the Salumeria della Musica on 17 May.

Rob Me Blind will be released on 27 March 2012 for Great Depression Recordsthe label founded by Jay Brannan himself. "Beautifully"is the second single extracted.

Brannan, considered to be among the most bizarre cases of new American songwriting, has always stood out for his unmistakable intimist and genuine style, simple yet poignant, often only accompanied by the notes of his guitar. A sensual style that Brannan finds in female singer-songwriters, from Ani di Franco to Tori Amos, from Sinead O'Connor to Fiona Apple.

After a past as an actor - many will remember him for his participation in 'ShortbusJohn Cameron Mitchell's 2006 film, which caused a scandal as soon as it was presented at the Cannes Film Festival, decides to pursue a career as a singer and guitarist, dedicating himself entirely to music.

He achieved high visibility by posting his first videos online, on youtube, attracting the attention of many listeners until he started Great Depression Records and a first album in 2008, "Goodamned'; in 2009 'In Living Cover" and now the release of "Rob Me Blind"which he will present to the Italian public in May 2012.
