Wednesday 8 July sees the arrival at Carroponte in Sesto San Giovanni (MI) for the only Italian date. American singer-songwriter JOHN HIATT to present his new album 'Terms Of My Surrender'. as part of the third edition of Bloom in Blues Summer Fest. To enrich the event, the following will take the stage as openers REVEREND & THE LADY or the project of Mauro Ferrarese (vocals, resophonic & twelve-string guitar, banjo) and Alessandra Cecala (double bass and vocals). John Hiatt is one of the longest-lived, most influential and respected American singer-songwriters, whose songs have been taken up by such international music giants as Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton, Iggy Pop, Joe Cocker and Bonnie Raitt. "Terms Of My Surrender" is the 22nd studio album in Hiatt's more than 40-year career. Produced by his long-time collaborator Doug Lancio, the album reached number four on the US Folk Albums chart and earned two nominations at the 2014 Grammy Awards. Since the album's release last July, Hiatt has embarked on an extensive tour around the world to present it to the public, in the company of special guests Taj Mahal and Robert Cray.
On this occasion, John Hiatt (vocals, guitar and harmonica) will be accompanied by The Combo, an ensemble consisting of Doug Lancio (guitar, banjo and mandolin), Nathan Gehri (bass), Kenneth Blevins (drums) and John Coleman (keyboards).
