Opening his concert during the Italian date will be the Dublin-based songwriter Orla Gartland, which with dodie shares not only the same British origins but also a passion for female songwriting and a desire to make music at all costs. In fact, Orla moved to London at a young age in search of venues that would allow her to perform live, at the same time uploading her videos to YouTube and gaining thousands of views. An eccentric, quirky and energetic artist, she owes much to Regina Spektor, Fiona Apple and the Imogen Heapfrom which she draws strong inspiration. In each song she shows a version of herself without compromise, without barriers and now Orla Gartland is ready to release its first official single, a gritty alt-pop song entitled I go crazy.
After her on stage dodie. The 28-year-old Dorothy Miranda 'dodie' Clark is an English singer-songwriter and YouTuber from Epping, Essex. She became popular thanks to her YouTube channel doddleoddleOn which he posts both original tracks and covers on piano and ukulele and which currently has over 1.7 million subscribers and over 150 videos with over 200 million views. In addition to this channel, he also runs doddlevloggleon which he periodically publishes vlogs followed by almost a million subscribers. In December 2016, he published his first video on his Vevo channel, dodieVEVOwith over 11.8 million views. Over time he has collaborated with other YouTubers such as Tessa Violet, Thomas Sanders, Jon Cozard, Flashback and many others.
In 2016 dodie came out of the orbit of YouTube to release her first album, Intertwinedfollowed the following year by Youboth of which entered the UK top 40 albums. Now, the singer-songwriter is getting ready to launch her third album Humanwhich is scheduled for release in January 2019 and will be accompanied by a tour that will also take her to Italy.
