Skate legend TOMMY GUERRERO in Milan in April for the 'Skate & Surf Film Festival' preview!

Finally back in Italy Tommy Guerrerolegendary skater, musician and producer from San Francisco, who will be on stage at the Circolo Magnolia Milan Friday 5 April 2024 on the occasion of a special preview of Skate & Surf Film Festival, Italy's largest celebration of contemporary skate and surf art and culture, which this May will bring the best skate and surf films from around the world to Milan. I tickets for the concert by Guerrero will be available on Ticketone e Says from 11 a.m. on Friday 8 December.

Originally from San Francisco, in the late 1970s Tommy Guerrero he started playing music with his brother Tony, with whom he shared a punk rock and DIY teenage ethos, and of course a passion for skateboarding. In 1984 Guerrero join the team of professional skaters Bones Brigade created by George Powell e Stacy Peraltawhich he later left to found his own brand, Realtogether with teammate Jim Thiebaud.

Over the years Guerrero has become a popular bass player and guitarist with influences ranging from John Coltrane at Bad Brainsthrough the Joy Divisionthe films of Gabor Szabo and many others. He was a member of the skate rock band Free Beer and post-rockers Jet Black Crayonas well as having released several albums as a solo artist. His tracks are the soundtrack to various skate video games, including the famous Tony Hawk's American Wasteland hosting Organism. Rolling Stone included the third studio album by Guerrero, Soul Food Taqueria, at second place in the ranking of best albums of 2003. At the beginning of 2021 Sunshine Radiowhich perfectly reflects the influences of Guerrerowith jazz and Latin American sounds.
