ANDY McKEE'S magical guitar returns to ITALY in autumn

Just over a year after his Italian concerts in 2018, Andy McKee returns to our country with his unmistakable music. The dates to mark in your calendar are: Monday 4 November at the Borgna Studio Theatre of theAuditorium Parco della Musica by Rome e Wednesday 6 November to theOff Modena. Tickets will be available from from 10 a.m. on Friday 28 June at Ticketone (Rome) e Mailticket (Modena), access to the Modena concert will require the STOFF card.

Andy McKee is recognised as one of the best acoustic guitarists in the world, skilled in fingerstyle, a technique that does not involve the use of a plectrum. His fingers plucking the steel strings of his guitar, the energy produced and the melodic content of his songs make him recognisable at first hearing. He has reached millions of viewers on YouTube, building up a resounding success that has allowed him to be counted among the most influential artists of his generation. In past years Andy McKee has had the opportunity to perform in Europe, Asia, Australia and North America, as well as opening for legendary artists such as Prince and the Dream Theater. His concerts are a magical, unmissable event for fans, so much so that the artist decided to release his first live album a few years ago, Live Book (CGP Sounds, 2016)a collection of tracks recorded during live performances in 2015 at the The Melting Point by Athens, at Red Clay Music Foundry by Duluth and the Workplay by Birmingham. About this work, Andy McKee he said: "I have always wanted to make a live album, for years I felt that something was missing from my discography. On this record there are tracks like Drifting and Rylynn and a cover of Michael Hedges, a musician very dear to me, played on harp guitar."
