Among the most faithful musicians alongside Bruce Springsteen from the earliest youthful appearances, Steven Van Zandt began his solo career in the 1980s, releasing five studio albums to date as Little Steven and the Disciples of Soul. Since April 2002 he has hosted the weekly radio programme Little Steven's Underground Garage, broadcast on more than 200 American and international stations, during which he takes his listeners on a two-hour journey to discover the musical gems of sixty years of rock'n'roll, while also making room for up-and-coming bands from all over the world. The success of the programme has meant that Little Steven's Underground Garage went beyond the radio dimension to become a recognisable brand also associated with television, live events, albums and more.

After the experience in The Sopranos, Steven continued to work in the TV world as co-author, executive producer, music supervisor and director of Lilyhammerthe first series produced by Netflixwho has won several international awards.
