From web videos, to subways, to stages all over the world: the Lucky Chops, one of the freshest brass bands of their kind, return to our country with a double leg: Tuesday 29 October at Largo Venue by Rome e Wednesday 30 October at Menagerie by Milanto access the latter will require the ACSI card. I Lucky Chops I am a wild one brass band American wind ensemble that began its artistic career playing in the subways of New York City. The band members are: Josh Holcomb (trombone), Daro Behroozi (tenor saxophone), Charles Sam (battery), Joshua Gawel (trumpet) and Raphael Buyo (sousaphone); full of positivity and convinced that music has the power, not only to give strength and energy to its listeners, but even to change the world, they have been together since 2006 and are ready to return with a new record. The band has in store a full length albumwhose name and release date have not yet been revealed, but which is already available for pre-order on Pledge Music, a music crowdfunding platform. Fans can thus secure their physical or digital copy and many gadgets from the band, which has meanwhile already presented some new tracks during the Album Release Night held at the Brooklyn Bowla renowned concert hall in New York City.
The disruptive funk of Lucky Chops is appreciated everywhere, over the years they have gained fans all over the world and millions of views on YouTube: thanks to the videos uploaded to the web, the vintage covers of great rock and pop hits and the incredible technical ability that is also evident in the unreleased tracks, the band has acquired a considerable and growing fame. In recent years, the band has been busy on many fronts, performing in hospitals to bring joy to patients, holding courses for young aspiring musicians and touring over twenty-five countries.
