After an early career alongside Delaney Davidson, an indispensable figure in the New Zealand music scene who supported Marlon Williams' European tour, the singer-songwriter finally made his solo debut in 2016 with a self-titled album: a rich and diverse nine-track assortment that showcases one of the most versatile and evocative voices of recent years. Growing up with the influence of his mother and his listeners including PJ Harvey, early music and Smokey Robinson, his style was forged as a mix of encounters and harmonies.
His album, released globally in February 2016, Marlon Williams has been touring throughout North America and Europe playing all the major festivals.
