Summer appointments with the Madness are enriched by two bands that are key players on the Italian scene: the ska of the Matrioska will open the show of Thursday 19 July at the Sullasabbia Festival at the Beky Bay in Bellaria-Igea Marina (RN) and the Giuda will warm up the audience Friday 20 July at GruVillage in Grugliasco (TO).
I Matrioska were born in 1996 in Milan, Italy, out of a meeting between Antonio Di Rocco and Matteo Spada, and their mix of pop, rock, punk and ska quickly made its way onto the Italian alternative scene. Now in its 22nd year, the band will release its tenth album on 5 May. Lieswhich he will present with a big party at Alcatraz in Milan and, of course, at the concert of the Madness at On the sand by Bellaria-Igea Marina (RN).
After the success of Speaks Evil and the accompanying tour, including the opening of the concert by the Madness in Trezzo sull'Adda (MI) last October, the Giuda are now back with new music: the single was released on 30 March. Rock'n'Roll Music for the London-based label Rise Above by the legendary Lee Dorrian (Napalm Death, Cathedral). The release was presented at the Lexington in London with two dates on 6 and 7 April.
